Typically, the financial processing systems offer several options for the output data. The print format is a choice, which will not give you the flexibility and the granularity for producing modern personalized statements. For this reason, we have a software solution consisting of few modules. Each module will be built and customized for your data and your statement design. Each module can be used independently and integrated with your current processing environment. We also can implement and do the processing for you, delivering the print stream necessary for printing the statements, as well the electronic format of the document.
Our processing model for creating the statements has three components.
Data normalization The data as it comes from your the processing system, is converted to a format that is modeled to represent the fundamental structure of your future document. The data can be presented at the output either as XML or as structured text file. Either one can be used with most of the page composition engines and for archiving. This way, data is prepared for the next stage, page composition.
Document design
Document design is a service that we are offering as part of our statement production package. Document design does not refer at the artwork placed on the pages of the document (logos, pictures, banners etc), which is normally provided by the client. The Document Design component will provide a description of the elements of the documents and the actual implementation of the document formatting programming code. We will develop the document utilizing the software of your choice or our own XML-based variable data publishing software.
Document delivery
Once you have the data and the document design, you have everything ready to run your engine and produce output. In many cases, you will need do deliver your statements through more than one channel (printed, email, fax, CD or DVD) Some of the channels will require special handling like sorting for obtaining USPS discounts or barcodes for ensuring integrity of the mailed packages. We handle all these requirements, utilizing the same document design for all channels. We can work directly with your print vendor and customize the solution based on their requirements. We also can facilitate the printing and mailing with one of our print partners.
